Ramadan Day 21- Your Heart Is Looking For Allah

There’s a quiet ache that creeps in at the most unexpected moments. When life is fine, everything looks okay, yet something still feels… off.

It shows up in the middle of the night when the world is asleep, but thoughts refuse to rest. It lingers even in laughter, making everything feel distant, like something is missing. It settles in after reaching a long-awaited goal, only to realise it didn’t bring the fulfillment it should.

That restlessness…that emptiness, it’s not because there’s something wrong with life. It’s the heart looking for Allah.

So much time is spent trying to fill that space with everything but Him. Achievements, relationships, entertainment, pouring everything into the void, hoping that this will finally bring peace. But no matter how much goes in, the cup never overflows. That space was designed for Allah alone.

Even when life is good, the ache remains, because peace doesn’t come from what is owned, but from who the heart turns to.

The mistake is treating the relationship with Allah like a backup plan. Running to Him only when things fall apart, when there’s no other option left. But the heart wasn’t made to seek Him only in desperation. It was made to find home in Him.

Turning to Him isn’t just for the hard days. It’s for every moment. The struggles, the victories, the days of uncertainty, the days of contentment. The heart rests in His remembrance, the soul finds comfort in His presence, and the emptiness fades when it finally returns to the One it has been longing for all along.

That ache and void are just a reminder that nothing will ever feel right until the heart is filled with Allah.

Place Him (SWT) above all else.

Love Always
