As humans, we create timelines in our minds. We map out our dreams, set expectations, and hold onto the belief that things will go as planned. We work hard, make dua with sincerity, and move forward with hope.
But life doesn’t always follow the script we write for it. Doors we expected to open remain closed. Paths that once seemed so clear suddenly become uncertain. Instead of ease, we find challenges. Instead of answers, we face silence.
It’s in these moments that the heart wrestles with disappointment. The mind searches for explanations, and the soul feels the weight of waiting. But what seems like a delay is never a denial. What feels like a setback is often protection. And what appears to be an ending is sometimes the beginning of something far greater than what was imagined.
Allah, in His infinite wisdom, sees what we cannot. He removes, redirects and reshapes our journey in ways that only make sense much later. And while we may not understand it now, there will come a day when everything aligns, and we will look back with gratitude for what didn’t happen.
Trusting the process isn’t always easy, but it is necessary, because the One who wrote your story has already seen the ending, and it is always better than what you had planned.
