How many clothes do babies really need to wear?

I understand that in some part of the world, it is rather cultural to wear plenty layer of clothings for babies because it is believed that they need plenty wears this is however not true. Babies are also sensitive to weather, they need to be dressed appropriately for the weather and not alternatively.
If the weather is quite cold dress them in overall, caps cardigans etc and if the weather is hot, a light and loose clothing is required to allow passage of breeze and prevent them from having heat related skin issues.

Most Nigerians have been made to believe baby skin issues are a norms, but I’m saying for a fact, they aren’t normal, alefo, skin/heat rashes aren’t normal for babies, it isn’t a normal thing to have skin issues as babies, the way babies are being covered is actually one of the many reasons they have skin issues, wear breathable clothings for them, allow ventilation and fresh air into the home.
